5.22 Services-View
Purpose
A service is a paid or unpaid action, or effort performed to satisfy a need or fulfill a demand. A service can be anything from funding from a program to unpaid help provided by another person to someone in need.

Procedures
Anchor Point: Activities tab in Common Outcome Plan
- Select the Activities tab from the Navigation Bar
- Select the Services sub tab
- Services that have been entered are listed under Name
- The Service columns refer to:
- Name- type of service being provided
- Category- the program providing the service. A free form text service entry will have a blank category.
- Provider- name of support network member responsible for providing the service. If no provider is listed, there is no single support providing the service\
- Start Date- when the service began being provided
- End Date- the date the service will stop or did stop being provided
View Details of Service (if any were entered when created)
- Select the blue hyperlink for the Service to View
- The service opens in a new page (you know the page is a service page because it is prefaced with a ‘S’)
- Under ‘reason’ you can read the details entered regarding a service
Add Comment
Adding comments to a service prevents the need to write information in the Contact Log, relevant to another area on the system
- Select the line action menu of the service you want to add a comment to
- Select Add Comment. A modal opens. Add the comment and select Save
- To view the history of comments entered, select the hyperlink for the service. A new page opens (the last note entered appears in the Home tab)
- Select the Notes tab
- A new page opens with the history of notes entered to that Service
