Community Access Supports

Intent

To describe services available through Community Access Supports.

Policy

The PDD program provides funding for Individuals to connect within the community on a regular basis. Community Access Supports promote an Individual’s inclusion in community activities and personal development through activities such as arts, education, recreation, community association programs and participation in the volunteer sector.

These supports are separate and distinct from Home Living Supports. The funded supports provided under Community Access Supports are based on an Individual’s identified service and support needs and reflected in the PDD Service Plan.
