Designated Capacity Assessor Training

The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee is offering a three day Capacity Assessor Training course.

It is open only to Registered Social Workers, Registered Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses interested in becoming Designated Capacity Assessors.

Note:

  • Completion of this course is a requirement for completion a decision making capacity assessments under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act (AGTA).
  • Application is required ahead of time and all applications will be screened and you will be notified of acceptance.
  • There is no cost for the workshop.
