Camp L.G. Barnes is a year-round resort located on the shore of Gull Lake near Bentley, Alberta designed to accommodate people with developmental disabilities and their supporters.

While originally established primarily for people who live at Michener, the Camp is increasingly used by individuals, families, and groups from across Central Alberta and provides visitors with a unique low cost recreational option.

The seven-acre camp has a main lodge with overnight accommodation for 20 guests, a family cabin, houseboat, sheltered picnic area, petting farm, wheelchair swings, sea-doo, four-wheel bike and many other amenities, most of them accessible by wheelchairs.

Visitors can choose from a host of activities that range from fishing off the camp's private dock, use of the Seadoo or houseboat, horse riding, to a wide variety of inside activities and games. Summer camp staff are available to assist in making each visitor's experience memorable. Winter activities include ice-fishing and snowmobiling.

The Camp is owned by the Society of Parents and Friends of Michener Centre and operated by Michener Services.
