Contract Templates

Community and Social Services and Children’s Services are using new contract templates that promote a standard approach to contracting – part of the Contract Alignment Project.

The new templates adhere to government standards and practice, help ensure that the ministries meet their legislative and ethical obligations to clients and enhance accountability in contracting for Albertans.

Ministry staff worked with the Alberta Council of Disability Services and ALIGN Association of Community Services to gather feedback from service providers about the new templates. As a result, revisions were made both the Child and Youth Services and PDD contract templates.

Summary of April 21, 2016 Templates Discussion (ALIGN and Human Services) and Recommendations

The new Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) contract template for agreements was in effect as of April 1, 2017.

Qualified Service Providers are encouraged to contact their regional contract specialist if they have questions about the templates.
