Cooking up a new future

Kopar Administration staff
who assisted Raymond

Raymond moved to Edson looking for a new job and to be closer to family. In the past, he’d had challenges at work including verbal abuse by his supervisor and other staff. Raymond sought help dealing with his thoughts and emotions and hoped the support of family would help as well.

Raymond was considering switching to the retail industry and so he approached Kopar Administration for help with his resumé. His career consultant met with him, helped him identify his transferable skills, and update his resumé and cover letter. Raymond found a full-time job as a Chef the very next day.

“Thank you Kopar for helping me with my resumé and cover letter. I had a job interview within an hour of handing them out to a few businesses in town. I'm taking over the kitchen at my new job. I will be the manager with two cooks reporting to me. Thank you very much for your help - I'll be recommending your services to everyone.”

Employment services at Kopar Administration are funded by the Government of Alberta.
