Manager / Instructor
AccData Computer Systems & Training

Pamela worked in administration and data entry for a busy oilfield company for seven years until she hurt her arm in a bad fall. She underwent a number of operations, different medications and physiotherapy to recover, but the pain was unbearable and she was unable to type fast or return to her old job. Pamela was out of the workforce and on Long Term Disability for four years when she heard about a training program with AccData Computer Systems and Training that would help her become a computer program instructor. Alberta Labour covered the cost of her training while Great West Life covered her living expenses. Pamela completed her course - earning the highest mark in her class, the prize of a new laptop, and a job as a Manager with AccData. Today, Pamela trains other students to use Microsoft Word and Excel. “I’m very happy to have taken the AccData course. It was a stepping stone to my future of instructing. I am now confident in the skills I gained through AccData Computer Systems & Training to get my dream job and return to the work force.” Pamela’s long term goal is to take her Instructor diploma course. Pamela tells all her AccData students “If I can do it, so can you.”
