Succeeding in the workplace

Photograph of LoriLori had a history of working with different employers and being let go because of reliability issues. She entered Aseniwuche Winewak Nation’s Integrated Training Program to improve her employability skills for a greater chance of success in the workforce.

Lori successfully completed the 12-week program and improved her skills in the areas of time management, leadership, and work ethic. Lori overcame many of the barriers that had previously been holding her back from successful employment.

With her improved skills, Lori is now employed with Aseniwuche Development Corporation and, according to her supervisor, is very successful. She is on the path to self-improvement and has decided to apply to a pre-employment Trades program in the hopes of obtaining a trade in the future. She is focused on a better life for her and her children.

Lori said, “I believe the Integrated Training Program helped me grow as an individual. I have learned valuable skills I use daily. It was a great experience.”
