Regional Family Violence and Bullying Prevention

Contact your Regional Family Violence and Bullying Coordinator

Preventing family violence and bullying is a priority of the Government of Alberta. At the local level, each Child and Family Services Office (CFS) is playing a leadership role through the work of Regional Family Violence and Bullying Coordinators. These coordinators work closely with community agencies and each other to enhance family violence and bullying prevention programs across the province.

The role of the Regional Family Violence and Bullying Coordinator is to provide leadership in each CFS for prevention of family violence and bullying initiatives that supports both regional needs and provincial priorities, based on the Cross-Ministry Prevention of Family Violence Initiative and CFS Regional business plans
