Business rules/criteria/standards

The user enters an Alert in Mobius as soon as possible to maximize their effectiveness.

In addition to selecting the Category and Type, the user must enter a start date for the Alert. The user may enter text that will enhance the understanding of the Alert or provide additional details for other users. As with any other data entry in Mobius, Alerts text should be based on facts and written as if the client were to get a copy.

Categories of Alerts

Safety Alerts

• Approach with Caution – the individual poses a physical threat to others (i.e. may have previously threatened or assaulted others).
• Health Concerns – the individual poses a health concern to self or others.
• Conversion – system generated, not for user selection.

Eligibility Alert

• Other Source of Income or Resources – Learner Income Support Office (LISO) eligibility concerns have been identified.  May also be used for non-financial eligibility concerns.
