13 Learner Eligibility Determination Case (LEDC)

The Learner Eligibility Determination Case (LEDC) is a verification to ensure the individual meets the eligibility criteria. It is run after all applicable evidence for the household has been entered and applied and is required to be run before a Product Delivery Case (PDC) can be created.

Anchor Point: Integrated Case Home Page

  1. Select Learner Eligibility Determination Case (LEDC) Tab.
  2. Select New.
  3. Select the applicable Client Funding Type.
  4. Select Yes.
  5. If status displays as Not Eligible, select the View hyperlink to review the results (Rules Tree).
  6. Select the plus (+) sign beside each level to expand the tree to locate the ineligibility issue.
  7. If an error made in processing that led to the ineligible status, complete corrections. Repeat steps 2-4 until eligible status displays.
  8. If an eligible status cannot be reached due to eligibility issues, select the FAD Requests (Funding Decision) Tab.
  9. Select the Create FAD Request.
  10. Select Yes.
