Rounding Income

In all cases, both net income and the income exemption are rounded as follows:

When the net income or income exemption has a cents value less than 50 cents, the amount is rounded down to the nearest dollar.

When the net income or income exemption has a cents value of 50 cents or more, the amount is rounded up to the nearest dollar.

Example
A recipient reports net employment income of $601.12. The worker rounds the income down to $601 when entering the information from the CRC into LISA.
