Isolated Community Allowance

INTENT
To cover the higher living costs associated with residing in a permanent community that does not have year round access.
POLICY
An applicant or a recipient and their dependants who reside in a permanent community that does not have all-weather road access is eligible to receive an additional benefit per month per person. An example of a remote community is Fort Chipewyan.
