Fine Option Program (FOP)
INTENT
Benefits are not provided to pay for babysitting, travel, or any other expense incurred while working off the fine.
POLICY
Income Support (IS) benefits are granted only if FOP participation does not interfere with the obligation to seek, accept, and maintain employment. Clients substantiate they are willing and able to accept and maintain employment by signing the Service Plan. Normally clients are able to re-negotiate hours to evening and weekend participation if required.
