Training Provider Regulation
 

INTENT

The Government of Alberta is committed to funding eligible Albertans to attend high quality and cost effective training programs.

The purpose of the program approval process is to ensure: 

• Program policy and regulatory requirements are met,
• Program outcomes are achieved,
• Program costs are acceptable,
• Training providers are aware of their roles and responsibilities pertaining to the acceptance of a learner into an approved program.   
   

The program approval process ensures that the provision of support to individuals to participate in approved programs will be a sound investment for both the Government of Alberta and the individual.
