Dependent child

– a person who is living with and dependent for support on an adult member of a household unit, and who is under the age of 18, or under the age of 20 if attending an education program under the School Act, but does not include a child in the custody or guardianship of a director under the Child Welfare Act, a child in respect of whom the maximum financial support payments referred to in section 10 of the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Regulation (AR 160/2004) are being made, or a child on whose behalf income support is being received from the child financial support program through a Child and Family Services Authority
