New Needs Identification

1.10 Copy Needs Identification to Common Holistic Assessment

Purpose

The new Needs Identification (NI) combines the previously existing Initial Contact-reporting purposes with the Needs Identification as was tested using the Common Holistic Assessment (CHA)-information collection under domains. The new NI can be done anonymously then attached to a registered individual, or simply completed and ‘filed’ for reporting. The new NI can also be done from an existing registered individual within the Common Outcome Plan (COP).

Procedure

Anchor Point: Needs Identification tab in Common Outcome Plan, line action menu

Copy NI Information to a New CHA

  1. Select the line Action menu that corresponds to the NI you want to copy to the Common Holistic Assessment (CHA)
  2. Select Copy NI to CHA

  3. The page refreshes to the Assessments tab and the newly created CHA is in a status of In Progress

Note: The Copy NI to CHA will be greyed out if a CHA already exists

Note: Text in Domain text boxes auto-copy to CHA Domains; Pathway Analysis auto-copies to the CHA Analysis, Next Steps auto-copy to the CHA Next Steps

  4. Select the Resume in the line Action menu of the CHA and continue the CHA

    Moving Information to Existing CHA

  5. Copy the new NI information from the list page
  6. Paste the new NI information to the Outcome Plan Narrative (Smart Panel)

  7. Go to the CHA and select Resume or Copy.

Note: Each time you flip between the Needs Identification tab and the Assessment tab, the Assessment will need to be resumed before you can paste the information from the NI to the CHA. This is why we use the Smart Panel

  8. Copy the information from the Smart Panel and paste it into the relevant sections of the CHA

Note: The same processes apply to this as the processes for Copy or Resume the CHA, remove what is no longer relevant and add in the newest information
