E15. Entering Evidence - Late Applications
If a learner applies late, in the second or later months of the training program but before the last day of training, benefits are calculated for the entire month in which the application is received by Learner Income Support Office (LISO).
Trigger
Learner application is received in LISO after the training start date.
LISO
E15.01
Enters or modifies the Client Funding Type Evidence received date to match the application date stamp.
E15.02
Creates appropriate Evidence using the first day of the month that an application is received as the start date.
E15.03
A negative entry of Director Approval must be made representing a decrease to core essential for the number of months we are not paying income support to the learner. Core essential is auto-issued using the Client Funding Type evidence start date which must be the training start date, so the negative evidence will reduce core essential to the correct amount.
E15.04
If tuition, etc. has already been paid by the learner, in part or full, the training benefits evidence can be reduced to the appropriate amount.
Business Rules/Criteria/Standards
Received date on evidence will always be the date stamped on the application regardless of whether or not the application is late.
