E07. CIC - Director Approval

Description

The following describes the application process for learners requesting a benefit that requires Director’s Approval. A request for a Director’s Approval is completed by the Learner Benefit Specialist; however, if the request is for a health benefit, it should be forwarded to the Health Benefits Exception Committee.

Details

Pre-condition(s)
Learner has submitted a Change in Circumstances form and Learner Income Support Office (LISO) has completed Change in Circumstances – General up to and including entering remainder of evidence.

Trigger
Learner Benefit Coordinator creates/applies evidence that requires approval/rejection.

Employment and Financial Supports Division – LISO, Learner Benefit Coordinator

E07.01
Enters Notes on evidence screen.

E07.02
Sends task to Learner Benefit Specialist work queue.

Employment and Financial Supports Division – LISO, Learner Benefit Specialist

E07.03
Completes LISO internal Director Approval process.

E07.04
Approves or rejects evidence in Mobius and enters Notes on evidence screen.

E07.05
Sends task to back to originator.

Employment and Financial Supports Division Delivery – LISO, Learner Benefit Coordinator

E07.04
Reassess Learner Income Support and Training Benefit Product Delivery Case.

E07.05
Manually generates Funding Decision.

Business Rules/Criteria/Standards

Approvals are done by the Learner Benefit Specialist; however, a request for a health benefit should be forwarded to the Health Benefits Exception Committee.
