Guidelines for Pick Up of Cheques in Emergency Situation
Cheques produced on site for pick up should only be created to prevent potential hardship to clients. The following guidelines should be used to determine if a client should be allowed to pick up a cheque:
- Client would be left without food or shelter.
- There is a medical emergency or health risk that presents as life threatening to a client or family.
- To prevent loss of employment opportunity.
