Section 2 Calculation of adjustment amounts

  1. Subject to the regulations, an income support payment that is to be adjusted under section 5.1(2)(b) of this Act must be adjusted by an amount equal to
    1. the amount of the income support payment for the previous CPI adjustment year, including any increase to that amount made under the regulations,
      multiplied by
    2. the change in the Alberta CPI determined in accordance with section 3.
