Division 2 Health Benefits (Sections 7-8)

Section 8 Eligibility for health benefits

  1. A child or adult is eligible to receive health benefits under this Division if the conditions required under subsection (2) are met.

  2. The conditions required for the purposes of subsection (1) are as follows:

    1. the residency requirements provided in the regulations are met;

    2. the person is financially eligible in accordance with the regulations;

    3. information and verification of information required to determine eligibility are provided;

    4. the person is not entitled to receive health benefits similar to the health benefits provided under this Division from any other source specified in the regulations;

    5. any other conditions required by the regulations.
